子猫たちの周期は短い。食べて、遊んで、寝て、起きたらまた食べて。。。だいたい3，4時間で1周って感じです。この子たちは、カリカリ（ドライフード）が好きなので、うんちくんも、柔らかすぎず、取りやすい！助かります。
子猫たちのトイレは、砂じゃなくて、ペレットを使っています。病院から支給されたものです。子猫のうちは、猫砂を口にすることもあるみたいで、その場合、最悪死んでしまうらしいです。
ペレットは木を細かく砕いて乾燥させたものをぎゅーっと圧縮したもので、おしっこがかかるとほろほろふやけて粉状になります。最初、わからなくて、この粉状になったものがいいのかなと、粉を捨てずにためていたのですが（ちゃんと調べろ！）ずっと見ていたら、おしっこがかかったら粉になってることに気づき（遅い！）大き目のスクープで、ふるいにかけ、新しいリッターボックスに、未使用のペレットを移すという、原始的な方法で粉だけを取り除く作業に、毎日従事しております。
ペレットに適したキャットリッターボックスも売ってるんだけど、これ、大きいんだよ、子猫たちには。まあ、マメに頑張ります！

But after observing for a while, I (finally!) realized that it turns into powder when urine hits it. Now, I’m engaged in the primitive task of removing only the powder by using a large scoop and a sieve, transferring the unused pellets to a new litter box every day.
