子猫たちの周期は短い。食べて、遊んで、寝て、起きたらまた食べて。。。だいたい3，4時間で1周って感じです。この子たちは、カリカリ（ドライフード）が好きなので、うんちくんも、柔らかすぎず、取りやすい！助かります。
子猫たちのトイレは、砂じゃなくて、ペレットを使っています。病院から支給されたものです。子猫のうちは、猫砂を口にすることもあるみたいで、その場合、最悪死んでしまうらしいです。
ペレットは木を細かく砕いて乾燥させたものをぎゅーっと圧縮したもので、おしっこがかかるとほろほろふやけて粉状になります。最初、わからなくて、この粉状になったものがいいのかなと、粉を捨てずにためていたのですが（ちゃんと調べろ！）ずっと見ていたら、おしっこがかかったら粉になってることに気づき（遅い！）大き目のスクープで、ふるいにかけ、新しいリッターボックスに、未使用のペレットを移すという、原始的な方法で粉だけを取り除く作業に、毎日従事しております。
ペレットに適したキャットリッターボックスも売ってるんだけど、これ、大きいんだよ、子猫たちには。まあ、マメに頑張ります！
ちゃんと、3匹に１つずつのお皿に入れてるのに、１つのお皿を競いあって食べるのはなぜ？
食べて遊んだ後は、すぐにおねむ。。。可愛いです。
The kittens’ routine is short. They eat, play, sleep, and then eat again when they wake up… It feels like they go through this cycle about every 3 or 4 hours. Since these little ones like dry food, their poop is not too soft and easy to clean up!
The kittens’ litter box uses pellets instead of sand, which were provided by the hospital. It seems that kittens might ingest cat litter, and in the worst case scenario, it could lead to death.
The pellets are made by finely grinding and drying wood, then compressing it tightly. When urine hits them, they crumble and turn into a powdery substance. At first, I didn’t understand and wondered if this powdery substance was good, so I kept it without disposing of it (I should have researched properly!). But after observing for a while, I (finally!) realized that it turns into powder when urine hits it. Now, I’m engaged in the primitive task of removing only the powder by using a large scoop and a sieve, transferring the unused pellets to a new litter box every day.
