家の中に使っていないキャットタワーがあったので、外に出して、日に当てて干していると、猫たちが集まって、勝手に上ったり下りたりして遊んでいた。気に入ったようだったので、玄関の雨に濡れない場所に、キャットタワーを設置した。
雨が降るたび、子猫たちはどうしているだろうと心配になっていた。見ていると、車のタイヤをよじのぼり、ボンネットの中に入っているようだ。
屋根の下にあるキャットタワーにいれば、濡れないし安全だ。
入ってくれるかな。。。と期待していると、意外と簡単にすぐにのぼって、2匹で遊んでいた。嬉しい！なんて可愛いんだろう。
るるちゃん（ママ）は、かなりの運動神経の持ち主だ。いつも木の高いところまで登ってすごい勢いで降りてくる。最近は、チビが、ママの真似をして、木に登るようになった。心配で見ているが、ママと似て運動神経がかなり良いようだ。タビは、全く木には登らない。がんちゃん（父）が、あまり機敏ではない。それに似たのかな？猫も得意不得意があるようだ。
I had an unused cat tower inside the house, so I brought it outside and left it in the sun to dry. The cats gathered around and started playing, going up and down on it as they pleased. They seemed to enjoy it, so I decided to set up the cat tower in a sheltered spot near the entrance where it wouldn’t get wet from the rain.
Every time it rain, I worried about the kittens. But watching them, I saw them climbing up the car tires and even getting into the hood. If they were in the cat tower under the roof, they wouldn’t get wet and would be safe.
I hoped they would go in… and surprisingly, they climbed up easily and started playing together right away. How delightful! They are so adorable.
Lulu(Mom) is quite agile. She always climbs up to high places on trees and comes down with great speed. Lately, Chibi has been imitating Mom, climbing up trees. I watch with concern, but it seems Chibi inherited Mom’s agility. Tabi, on the other hand, never climbs trees at all. Gan-chan (Dad) isn’t very nimble either. I wonder if Tabi takes after him. It seems like cats have their own strengths and weaknesses, too.
